For Cinderella, I was called in at short notice to cover the Followspot 1 Operator, as they were no longer able to attend. I used a Robert Juliat Roxie followspot, handling a variety of static and moving spotting cues, as well as picking up performers in black outs . I also assisted with the get-out, acting as Deputy LX while the Head LX operated the fly floor. My responsibilities included ensuring all hired equipment was returned to the correct cases with the appropriate cables supplied by the hire company. In addition, I was able to support and direct other crew members during the get-out, helping ensure the correct fixtures were removed and that hired cables were separated from the venue’s in-house stock.
