Oliver!

Oliver! has to be one of the best shows I have worked on so far. As the Lighting Designer, it gave me an excellent opportunity to test my skills and showcase my ideas in my final production at BIPA.

Throughout the process, we faced a number of challenges alongside many positives, but overall we worked extremely well as a crew. By supporting one another and adapting when needed, we delivered a thoroughly well-executed performance that was enjoyed by many.

This experience has given me a great deal of confidence as I prepare to enter the industry. It has reinforced that I have the core skills needed to design a strong and effective show, even when working within budget limitations and facing unexpected challenges. I have learned the importance of adapting aspects of a design to suit the circumstances while still ensuring the final outcome remains professional and achieves the intended creative vision.
