Mary Poppins tested my programming speed after not having been on the desk before as I only had one run to make sure everything was programmed. After that I then went over and checked everything and managed to get almost all of it finished in that one session.
This show wasnt a particularly detailed performance and was only about 1 hour 15 minutes long but i still made sure there were differences in designs between locations to assist in the storytelling as much as possible. I had some new positions to light and used gobos to create the rooftop scenes with the Chimney sweeps.
In the end the outcome was a simple but effective design which tied in nicely with the overall feel of the performance
