Letz Zep were a great band to work with. I wasn’t involved in the initial setup, as the venue had technicians working who had already prepared most of the stage, but I was responsible for operating the lighting throughout the entire show. It was a fairly relaxed gig, so I aimed for a laid-back, 70s club-style vibe while still incorporating some more modern ideas to keep the show visually interesting. I experimented with a few new effects and different fixture positions to make the lighting feel more engaging, while maintaining a balanced and consistent look across the whole rig. 

The overall structure of the night was similar to most other gigs, but the band had less equipment on stage than usual, which made the get-out much quicker. This gave us extra time to prepare for the following day, helping to keep everything running efficiently and speeding up the overall turnaround.
